SHT C-02 · cookies

Cookies,
in full.

This is a short page because there is little to say. We measure how this site is read, and nothing more. No advertising, no profiles, no selling anything to anyone.

What we set

Only if you allow it. Decline, and none of the below is ever written — the analytics script is not even requested.

  • C.01_ga

Tells one visitor apart from another, so a return visit is not counted as a new one.

    2 years
  • C.02_ga_R978QQSWQG

Holds the state of the current visit — which pages, in which order.

    2 years

Both are set by Google Analytics, which we run through Firebase. They carry a random identifier, not your name, your email or anything you have typed. We see counts and pages; we cannot see who you are.

Your choice

The choice itself is kept in your browser's local storage as lds.consent — not a cookie, and never sent anywhere. Changing it here takes effect immediately; turning measurement off also clears the cookies above.

We ask before measuring across the UK and the EEA. Elsewhere we measure without asking first, which is why this page exists everywhere — the switch above is yours wherever you are.

Where the data goes

To Google, who process it for us as Google Analytics 4, and to nobody else. We read it as aggregate reports — which pages were read, how people arrived, how many wrote to us. Google's own processing may happen outside the UK, under the terms they publish for the service.

Asking us about it

Questions go to info@laldinsoft.com or to Laldinsoft Ltd, 20-22 Wenlock Road, London, N1 7GU. We reply within one working day.
